Nogales is a city in the Mexican state of Sonora with 220 292 inhabitants ( 2010). The city is located in the northwest of Sonora and is in the north, in the city of Nogales (Arizona ).

History

The city was founded on July 9, 1884.

Demography

The total population in 2010 was at 220 292 people. In 2000 there were still 159 103 1990 even been only 105 873.

Education

In Nogales, there is a branch of the Universidad de Sonora.
