Noida, an acronym derived from New Okhla Industrial Development Authority, (Hindi: नोएडा, Nöda ) is an industrial city in northern India, with about 640,000 inhabitants ( 2011 census ).

Noida is located in the extreme west of the state of Uttar Pradesh on the border with Haryana and is a southeastern suburb of Delhi. Administratively, the city belongs to the district of Gautam Buddha Nagar. The city center of Delhi is around 25 kilometers from Noida.
