The Nomos Center (also: Center "Nomos " to promote the study of the geopolitical issues and Euro -Atlantic cooperation Black Sea region, Russian Центр содействия изучению геополитических проблем и евроатлантического сотрудничества Черноморского региона " Номос " ) is a non-profit and independent Ukrainian non-governmental organization and think tank.

History

The Nomos center was established in November 2003 as a NGO " think tank" founded with the goal of programs and projects of political and strategic analysis to help shape the field of security, and to participate in scientific research. The Center also provides information about the processes of European and Euro -Atlantic integration.

The project is intended to serve Ukrainian and foreign elites as an instrument of spiritual integration. For dialogue and discussion between the experts and politicians on the state and prospects of the Black Sea, Caspian and Baltic regions

Description

The Center develops forecasts and recommendations for policy makers, government agencies and academic institutions. It also holds conferences, seminars and round tables.

Since 2006, one of the leading NGO Task Forces on Economic Security Network Ukraine -NATO partnership under the auspices of the joint High-Level Group on Defence Reform ( JWGDR ).

The Nomos Center operates within a network of partners with international institutions. Partner of the " Nomoses " are independent analytical centers in Ukraine, Russia, the South Caucasus countries, in the European Union and the United States. The Nomos Center works together with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the International Renaissance Foundation.

Black Sea Security

It also publishes a journal " Black Sea Security " (Russian " Черноморская безопасность ").
