Non Daeng District

Amphoe Non Daeng ( Thai: อำเภอ โนน แดง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the northeastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima. The Nakhon Ratchasima province is located in the northeast region of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.

Geography

Amphoe Non Daeng borders the following districts (from north clockwise): Amphoe Sida to, Prathai, Phimai, Khong and Bua Yai. All Amphoe located in the province of Nakhon Ratchasima.

History

The village Non Daeng was raised in 1965 to a tambon of Amphoe Bua Yai. Later it became part of Amphoe Prathai. On April 1, 1989 Non Daeng as a small district ( King Amphoe ) was established by its territory were separated together with the Tambon Non Ta Then, Sam Phaniang and Amphoe Wang Hin from Prathai. The fifth Tambon Don Yai Yao has been added on August 1, 1989. On 20 October 1993, the retail district was promoted to Amphoe.

Management

Amphoe Non Daeng is divided into five subdistricts ( tambon), which in turn have together 65 municipalities ( Muban ).

There is a small town ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • Non Daeng ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล โนน แดง ), consisting of parts of the tambon Non Daeng.

There are also eight administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
