Do not think about it ( original title: Non pensarci ) is an Italian comedy film directed by Gianni Zanasi from the year 2007.
After the presentation at various international film festivals in the fall and winter of 2007 the film in spring 2008 came in several European countries and in Australia in the rental. In Germany, it was shown from 21 August Austria from August 22 in cinemas.
Action
Stefano Nardini, aging punk musician in Rome, takes an unannounced break in his long not visited family in Rimini. There he is received warmly, but shows variations that: Stefanos sister Michela has dropped out of university in favor of a job in a dolphinarium. Her father Walter has delegated the management of the family's own cannery completely on Stefanos brother Alberto, who, however, has this been run by his family unnoticed in the wake of his divorce to the brink of ruin. Stefano is involuntarily involved to solve the problem.
The three siblings try to (former) Known - the director of the local bank, the regional union leaders and the rising young politician Paolo Guidi - to persuade them to help but fail because of their unwillingness or, in the case Guidi, at the undisclosed impotence. At the same time seeks solace in the Alberto featured him as a cousin of his friend Carlo Nadine, a call girl. He falls in love with her and plans, even after he learned of her profession and the circumstances of their first meeting, even to marry her. Michela and Paolo Guidi take during the attempts to save the Nardini family, their former, secret relationship back on.
Walter Nardini, the unnoticed informs himself of his children on the situation of the company, while casually arranged on the golf course possible financial support. Criticism and reception
Do not think about it received mostly positive reviews in the German media. So called the press the film " a small bright spot in the last rather dark realm of Italian film comedy", while the standard of a " pleasant [n ] surprise, a [em ] friendly [n ] film" speaks. In the Critique of the Germany radio is not think about it " not a big one but a thoroughly likeable film", for the Frankfurter Rundschau of proof "that may be family comedies of the summit of the art when they are not produced by the German television ". The Berliner Morgenpost stated the film a " fine blend of slapstick, melancholy and a wonderful self-deprecating protagonist ".
