Non Sang District

Amphoe Non Sang ( Thai: อำเภอ โนนสัง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the south of the province Nongbua Lamphu. The Nongbua Lamphu province lies in the western part of the northeast region of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.

Geography

Adjacent counties and regions are (from west clockwise): the Amphoe Si Bun Rueang and Mueang Nong Bua Lamphu in the province Nongbua Lamphu, Amphoe Nong Wua So Udon Thani province, as well as Amphoe Khao Suan Kwang, Ubolratana, Phu Wiang Nong Na Kham province of Khon Kaen.

History

The area of present-day county Non Sang was originally a tambon of Amphoe Nongbua Lamphu. On January 1, 1948, he was made a sub-district ( King Amphoe ), which was promoted on June 9, 1956 a Amphoe.

Management

Amphoe Non Sang is divided into ten sub-districts ( tambon), which continues in 107 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

There are four small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • Non Sang ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล โนนสัง ) consists of the whole tambon Non Sang,
  • Kut You ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล กุด ดู่ ) consists of parts of the tambon Kut You,
  • Nong Ruea ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล หนองเรือ ) consists of the whole tambon Nong Ruea,
  • Ban Kho ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล บ้าน ค้อ ) consists of the whole tambon Ban Kho.

In addition, there are seven " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
