Nonce word

As a nonce or occasionalism a word is called in linguistics, which is used only once or very rarely. Okkasionalismen are usually formed spontaneously to close in a current naming situation a lexical gap. Forming and using Okkasionalismen is a means of economy of language. With them ad hoc can be brought a complex issue into a single, understandable in the context of expression. Example: coasters tax reform on tax reform, a tax return fails so soon after their execution, that it fits on a coaster.

Okkasionalismen and neologisms

Be Okkasionalismen, although they are of course at the moment of their character and use of neologisms, not considered neologisms. Neologisms are words that are already in use for some time and have become so established as part of the vocabulary of a language. As a conclusion of this process of lexicalization can consider their inclusion in a general linguistic dictionary.
