Nong Muang District
Amphoe Nong Muang ( Thai: อำเภอ หนอง ม่วง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the north of the province of Lopburi. The Lopburi province is located in the central region of Thailand.
Geography
Adjacent Amphoe are seen from the northeast: the Amphoe Khok Charoen, Sa Bot, Khok Samrong, Ban Mi Lopburi Province and Amphoe Takhli, Tak Fa and Phaisali the province of Nakhon Sawan.
History
Following a recommendation from 1989 Nong Muang was established by six Amphoe Khok Samrong Tambon from were separated on 1 April in 1900, as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ). On 5 December 1996 Nong Muang has been promoted to Amphoe ..
Management
The circle is ( tambon) divided into six municipalities that continue in 67 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.
Nong Muang itself has a small-town status ( thesaban tambon) and covers parts of the tambon Nong Muang.
In addition, there are six " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations).
