Nong Ruea District
Amphoe Nong Ruea ( Thai: อำเภอ หนองเรือ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the province of Khon Kaen. The Khon Kaen Province is located in the northeast region of Thailand, the Isaan.
Geography
Neighboring districts are (from west clockwise): the Amphoe Chum Phae, Phu Wiang, Ubolratana, Ban Fang and Mancha Khiri province of Khon Kaen as well as Amphoe Ban Thaen in Chaiyaphum province.
History
Nong Ruea was established in 1959 initially as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by being separated from Amphoe Mueang Khon Kaen. On January 31, 1963 Nong Rua got the full Amphoe status.
Management
Amphoe Nong Ruea is divided into ten municipalities ( tambon) divided, further in 94 villages ( Muban ) are divided.
There are also three small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:
- Nong Ruea ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล หนองเรือ ) includes parts of the tambon Nong Ruea,
- Nong Kae ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล หนอง แก ) consists of parts of tambon Kut Kwang and Non Sa -at,
- Don Mong ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ดอน โมง ) covers parts of the tambon Bang Kong and Chorakhe.
In addition, there are ten " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
