Nong Song Hong District

Amphoe Nong Song Hong ( Thai: อำเภอ หนองสองห้อง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the south of the province of Khon Kaen. The Khon Kaen Province is located in the northeast region of Thailand, Isan.

Geography

Neighboring districts are (from west clockwise): the Amphoe Phon, Non Sila, Ban Phai and Pueai Noi in the province of Khon Kaen, Amphoe Na Chueak the province of Maha Sarakham, the Amphoe Na Pho, Phutthaisong and Ban Mai Chaiyaphot the province of Buriram, and Amphoe Prathai the province of Nakhon Ratchasima.

History

Nong Song Hong was on 1 January 1962 initially as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the four tambon Takua Pa Nong Mek, Non deed and Khuemchat were separated from Amphoe Phon. On July 16, 1963, he was promoted to Amphoe.

Administrative units

Amphoe Nong Song Hong is ( tambon) divided into twelve municipalities, which in turn in 137 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

There is a small town ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • Nong Song Hong ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล หนองสองห้อง ), consisting of parts of the tambon Nong Song Hong.

There are also twelve administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
