Nong Suea District

Amphoe Nong Suea ( Thai: อำเภอ หนองเสือ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the eastern part of the province of Pathum Thani in central Thailand.

Etymology

In the area of ​​today's district Nong Suea there used to be a pond, which was often visited by wild tigers living in the mountains of the neighboring provinces of Nakhon Nayok Saraburi and. Therefore, the residents called this area "Tiger Pond" ( Nong Suea ).

Geography

Neighboring districts (from north clockwise): Amphoe Wang Noi Ayutthaya Province, Amphoe Nong Khae and Wihan the Daeng of Saraburi province, the Amphoe Ban Na of Nakhon Nayok and Ongkharak and Amphoe Thanyaburi and Khlong Luang Pathum Thani province.

Administrative divisions

Amphoe Nong Suea is divided into seven communities ( tambon), which in turn in 70 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.
