Nong Ya Sai District

Amphoe Nong Ya Sai ( Thai: อำเภอ หนอง หญ้า ไซ ) is a district ( Amphoe ) in the western part of the province ( Changwat ) Suphanburi. Suphanburi is located in the west of central Thailand.

Geography

The neighboring Amphoe are from clockwise from the north: the Amphoe Dan Chang, Bang Nang Buat Doem, Sam Chuk and Don Chedi Suphanburi Province, and Amphoe Lao Khwan Kanchanaburi province.

History

Nong Ya Sai was born on June 1, 1983 initially as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the four Tambon Nong Ya Sai, Nong Rathawat, Nong Pho and Chaeng Ngam Amphoe Sam Chuk were separated from. On 21 May 1990, he officially got the full Amphoe status.

Management

The district Nong Ya Sai is divided ( tambon) in six municipalities.

Nong Ya Sai ( เทศบาล ตำบล หนอง หญ้า ไซ ) has the same time a small-town status ( thesaban tambon), it consists of parts of the tambon Nong Ya Sai.

In addition, there are six " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
