Nong Yai District

Amphoe Nong Yai ( Thai: อำเภอ หนองใหญ่ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the province of Chonburi. The Chonburi province is located in the eastern region of central Thailand.

Geography

The neighboring Amphoe are from clockwise from the North: Amphoe Wang Chan and Amphoe Pluak Daeng Rayong province, and Amphoe Si Racha, Ban Bo Thong Bueng and the province of Chonburi.

History

The sub-district ( King Amphoe ) Nong Yai was established on 1 December 1975. On 13 July 1981 he was elevated to a full district ( Amphoe ).

Management

The circle is divided into five subdistricts (tambon ), divide further into 24 villages ( Muban ).

The small town ( thesaban tambon) Nong Yai ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล หนองใหญ่ ) consists of all the same Tambon.

There are still four Tambon Administration Organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล )
