Nonstop was a Portuguese pop band.

Band History

Nonstop emerged in early 2001 from the Portuguese version of the singing competition Popstars, broadcast by the station SIC. The band initially consisted of five singers. Your cast was announced for the first time on 4 April 2001.

Their first album nonstop appeared on 16 July 2001 and reached gold status. After just six months left Fátima Sousa in January 2002 the band. In 2004, the four remaining singers managed a comeback. Their second album, Tudo Vai Mudar appeared on 5 May 2004.

On 10 March 2006 Nonstop won with Coisas de nada Portuguese preliminary decision to Euro Vision Song Contest, the Festival da Canção in Lisbon. At the European semi - final on 18 May 2006 in Athens, it was enough for 23 participants only for a disappointing 19th place.
