Nonviolent Peaceforce

Nonviolent Peace Force (NP ) is an international non-governmental organization working in conflict regions for the protection of the civilian population and the reduction of violence. Together with local partner organizations on whose invitation NP is given if active, working with non-violent methods in protecting threatened violence people and organizations and to contribute to the reduction of violence. This aims to sustainable peace processes enables or supports are the teams of the NP consist of trained peace workers and are international.

The Nonviolent Peace Force is a network of over 65 affiliates around the world. It has its headquarters in Brussels.

German member organizations of the NP are the federal government for social defense and forumZFD.
