The Nora Township is one of 23 townships in Jo Daviess County in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Illinois.

Geography

The Nora Township is located in northwest Illinois on the border with Wisconsin. The border with Iowa, which is formed from the Mississippi River, located some 50 km to the west.

The Nora Township is located at 42 ° 26 'north latitude and 89 ° 57 ' west longitude, covers 65.55 km ².

The Nora Township is located in the extreme northeast of the Jo Daviess County is bordered on the south by the Wards Grove Township, to the southwest by the Stockton Township, on the west by the Rush Township and to the northwest by the Warren Township.
