Norbaeocystin is an indole alkaloid, which is one of the hallucinogenic tryptamines.

It was first isolated in 1968 by Leung and Paul from a fungus. It is found in hallucinogenic mushrooms such as Psilocybe baeocystis and chemically related to the other substances psilocybin, psilocin and baeocystin.
