Norbert Huber

Norbert Huber ( born September 3, 1964 in Bruneck ) is a former Italian luger.

Norbert Huber belongs to the well slide and Bobfamilie Huber from South Tyrol. It was during his long career, both in single as well as in doubles very successful.

In individual Huber won three times in a row from 1985 to 1987 the overall World Cup. 1984 and 1998, he finished second in 1990 third party. At the World Championships in 1999 he was in Koenigssee third parties at the European Championships in 1984 and 1992, he won silver, bronze in 1998.

With his longtime partner Hansjörg Raffl Huber won at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer silver, two years earlier in Albertville bronze.

World Champion were both in 1990 in Calgary, Second in 1983 in Lake Placid, 1989 in Winterberg, 1993 in Calgary, Third 1991in Winterberg.

Also at the European Championships they won several medals: gold in 1992 and 1994, silver in 1988 and 1990, bronze in 1986 and 1984.

The overall World Cup won the duo in 1983, 1985, 1986 and five times in a row from 1989 to 1993; to get a second place in 1984, and two third places in 1987 and 1988.

Today Huber leads a hotel in Selva dei Molini.
