Work

First, Müller- Everling worked on sculptures and reliefs that emanated heavily on the formal language of geometry and have been implemented in the public space.

Since 1995, especially the wax material is the focus of his interest. Müller -Ever since then resulting compact wall works are monochrome solid-colored paraffin plates of intense color and are concavely curved. The wax in his capacity as a transparent material allows for a reinforced through of the light in the thinning of the central zones of the sculptural work. The light is the central event of the wax works. Not in his illuminating function, but as the image of the body 's inherent quality. Noticeably present in the thin and in the massive parts of it is further enhanced by their polarity. The imaginary continuation of the side edges of the objects also generates an imaginary, cylindrical interior, in which the viewer is included. With vivid sensibility and a minimalist design vocabulary Müller- Everling leads his wax work on a sensitive unity of form, material and light.

Since 2007, a further phase of the wax work joins in Müller -Ever -form work. It is now yellow stripes or fields in the front and rear sides of unstained paraffin embedded plates. The result is an interplay of clear and diffuse forms in the tension of the silence of the white surface.
