Norbert Schramm

Norbert Schramm ( born April 7, 1960 in Nuremberg, Germany) is a former German figure skater.

Life

Schramm began at the age of six years with the figure skating. Nine years was Erich Zeller his coach. He coached the national training center in Oberstdorf and started for the EC Oberstdorf. Among his teammates were Rudi Cerne and Heiko Fischer. Schramm was two times European Champion and Vice World Champion and multiple German champion in figure skating. Despite his coach Zeller, who was famous for his emphasis on the duty figures, Schramm was in his playing days someone who could fall behind when duty running. His strengths lay in the freestyle, which he presented in contrast to most of the runners of the competition with modern musical arrangements. He achieved fame by extraordinary choreography, bizarre pirouettes in a modification of the classic camel spin, quick step combinations and wild jumps as the Russian Spreizsprung, as well as fancy costumes. The toe loop and Salchow he jumped safely in combination and individually as a triple jump, Axel was for him the most difficult jump.

In 1984 he moved to the pros and became a professional world champion in Washington, D. C., USA. He has performed, among others, in the revue Holiday on Ice and other runway show events. From 1988-1992 he studied business administration at the University of Augsburg and of 1996-1998 Public Relations, Public Relations at the PR College of University of Management and Communication ( FH), Potsdam.

In 1997, he suffered a one-sided facial paralysis. From 2002 to 2007 he was artistic director of the ice shows at Europa-Park in Rust. 2006 commissioned him RTL for the live show Dancing on Ice as an ice expert and head coach of the celebrities. He also produces ice shows, directed and developed choreography for stage and television shows.

After his first divorce in April 2006, Schramm took a break for almost two years. During this time he traveled in South America and had a long time in Quito, Ecuador and Buenos Aires, Argentina, on. In January 2009, he participated in the RTL - reality show "I 'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here! " Part.

Norbert Schramm has one daughter and currently lives in Hoboken, New Jersey, USA, where he works as a freelance photographer.
