The Munich-based NorCom Information Technology AG was founded in 1989. Founder and Chairman of the Board is Viggo Nordbakk. More board member is Tobias Abthoff. NorCom is listed in the Deutsche Börse AG in general. The company's IPO took place in 1999.

One of the largest customers of NorCom in IT Consulting is the Federal Employment Agency with its headquarters in Nuremberg.
