Nordhordland

Nordhordland is a landscape in western Norway, which includes the northern parts of the Fylke Hordaland. Nordhordland consists of the municipalities Austrheim, Fedje, Meland, Masfjorden, modal, Lindas, Osterøy, Radøy and Vaksdal. So Nordhordland includes 9 municipalities and has an area of ​​2686 km ² and a total population of 42 365 ( 1 July 2009). The region is the center of Nordhordland Knarvik.

Nordhordland is one of 15 districts, which together make up the part of the country Vestlandet.
