Nordic Games GmbH

Nordic Games, also Nordic Games Group, is an established in 2008, Swedish company in the computer game industry.

Company History

2011 took over Nordic Games Some employees of the insolvent Austrian game publisher JoWooD Entertainment AG. These were transferred to the newly established Nordic Games GmbH, based in Vienna. In addition, Nordic Games acquired the product portfolio JoWooD and the naming rights to the brands JoWooD and The Adventure Company DreamCatcher Interactive, which were further used by the new subsidiary company as a publishing label.

In May 2012, Nordic Games took over the 55 Swedish and Norwegian branches and related online services of the insolvent British computer game - dealer game.

In the course of the auction of the product catalog of broken games publisher THQ, the company received on April 15, 2013 $ 4.9 million the rights to 150 former THQ titles, including the series Darksiders, Destroy All Humans!, Full Spectrum Warrior, Juiced, MX vs.. On June 25, 2013 Nordic Games announced that the company had acquired the rights to the game series Desperados and the action role-playing Silver.
