Nordic Optical Telescope

The Nordic Optical Telescope ( NOT) is one of the Roque de los Muchachos Observatory on the Canary island of La Palma befindliches astronomical telescope with a mirror diameter of 2.56 m. Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Norway and Finland financed the construction, which was completed in 1989. Since then, researchers may use the telescope world.
