Nordiska Berlin

The BFC Nordiska 1913 was a German football club from Berlin which existed from 1913 to 1933.

History

The BFC Nordiska Berlin was founded in 1913. The club acted in the time of its existence, for the most part in the championship of the Workers 'Gymnastics and Sports Association, and was next to Sparta 11 Berlin one of the strongest workers' associations from Berlin. While Sparta Berlin played the finals in the championship of the red sport twice, this is the Nordiska succeeded in the season 1920/21 the ATSB. After victories in the quarter - and semi-finals of the teams of FT and FT -South Wroclaw Lower Weser attracted the Berlin into the final of the ATSB, but subject to the Saxon favorites VfL Leipzig Stötteritz clearly with 0:3. In the aftermath of the BFC Nordiska played football in the workers no longer matters finals arrive from Berlin perspective but still the SC Eagle Pankow.

With the rise of the National Socialists of the BFC Nordiska was disbanded in 1933. 1945 a new company was rejected, the remains of the former Workers' Association joined the SG -east in what was to become the MSV Normannia 08 later.
