Nordsehl
Nordsehl is a municipality in the district of Schaumburg, in Lower Saxony and part of the velvet municipality Niedernwöhren.
Geography
The community is located at the extreme edge of the Weser mountain country about 30 kilometers west of the state capital of Hanover. From the southern county seat city of Hagen, the town is three kilometers away.
History
Nordsehl was 1203-1228 as the first Hagen Hufendorf in " Dülwald " and was built by the Earl of Roden - Wunstorf. The documentary mentions of the village date back to the year 1236. Count Konrad von Limmer left the monastery Marie Curie in a Werder Havelse and received two decades in Norcele. From 1269 to 1602 were the Munchausen landlords in Nordsehl and Ludersfeld. In the division of the county of Schaumburg 1647 Nordsehl fell along the Lippe part, so at the later Principality of Schaumburg -Lippe. Responsible was the Office Hagen, which rose 1884/1885 at the District Office District City Hagen Hagen castle. From 1899 to 1948, was then the county town of Hagen, who until July 1977 with the circle Biickeburg the district of Schaumburg -Lippe was formed in 1948. Since March 1, 1974, the community is part of the integrated municipality Niedernwöhren that has arisen in the course of the Lower Saxon regional reorganization and since August 1, 1977 the newly formed district of Schaumburg belongs.
1929, parts of the dissolved Gutsbezirks Brandenburg- Gallhof incorporated. These parcels were handed over to the municipal reform on March 1, 1974 to the City of Hagen.

The council consists of nine members including the Mayor, who were elected at the municipal election on September 11, 2011.

Finances

Public institutions
- Nordsehl is the site of a development association operated since 2006 by the indoor pool bathing bliss.

- For safety and order the police station Hagen is responsible.
Recurring events
In August / September of the year, supported by all the local clubs and harvest festival takes place. During a move the harvest crown is introduced and suspended the marksman king slices.
