The Norfolk Scope is a multi-purpose arena in Norfolk, Virginia. It is the venue for the home games of the AHL Norfolk Admirals teams. The Norfolk Scope was designed by Italian engineer Pier Luigi Nervi in conjunction with the firm Williams and Tazewell.

Use

The Norfolk Scope is the home of the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League. From 1989 to 2000, the former East Coast Hockey League franchise in the Hampton Roads Admirals Norfolk Scope used as a home ground. Previously also regularly professionally basketball and arena football was played in the arena.

The arena is used for many other events such as concerts, sporting events such as basketball, boxing and wrestling as well as for concerts. It already appeared on numerous artists such as Shirley Jones, James Blood Ulmer and Billy Bragg.
