Noriko Nakayama

Noriko Nakayama (Japanese中山 纪 子, Noriko Nakayama, * May 30, 1943 as Noriko Takagi ,高木 纪 子, Noriko Takagi ) is a former badminton player from Japan.

Career

Noriko Takagi won their first two Japanese master title in 1962 in the women's singles and women's doubles. Nine other titles followed until 1971.

In 1966 she won at the Asian Games, the first international laurels when she won gold and bronze. From 1966 to 1978 she was with the Japanese Uber Cup team five times in the final of this competition. The first three finals and won the last Japan, while in 1975 only to place two handed at this World Cup for women's teams. 1971 and 1972 she won the All England. At the 1972 Summer Olympics she won the badminton tournament, which was, however, carried out as a demonstration sport.
