Norinchukin Bank

Norin Chuo Kinko (Japanese农林 中央 金库, dt " Agriculture and Forestry Central Bank", in short:农林 中 金, Norinchukin, English The Norinchukin Bank. ) Is a Japanese company based in Tokyo. The company operates as a credit institution in banking.

The bank was founded in 1923 as Sangyo Kumiai Chuo Kinko (产业 组合 中央 金库, dt " Cooperative Central Bank") established as a quasi- governmental institution; a year later allowed her a separate law (农林 中央 金库 法, Norin Chuo Kinko hō, revised 2001), cooperatives offer in the fields of fisheries, agriculture and forestry, financial services. Thus it receives today the legal form of a " separate legal person of private law " (特别 民间 法人, Tokubetsu Minkan Hojin ). In 1943 the bank to its present name.
