Norman Malloy

Joseph Norman "Norm" Malloy ( born September 27, 1913 in Kinkora, Ontario, † December 16, 1964 ) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. In the 1932 Olympics he won the gold medal as a member of the Canadian national team.

Career

Standard Malloy began his career as a hockey player at the Elmwood Millionaires, where he was active in the season 1929/30. He then played one year for the Regina Victorias before he stood from 1931 to 1934 for the Selkirk Fishermen in the Manitoba Hockey League on the ice. In 1932 he was also in the short term for the Winnipeg Hockey Club, with which he participated in the 1932 Olympics. In the 1934/35 season, he played nine games for the Timmins McIntyre Miners, before he ended his career at the age of 22 years.

Internationally

For Canada Malloy participated in the 1932 Olympics in part in Lake Placid, where he won the gold medal with his team.
