Norman Nato

Norman Nato ( born July 8, 1992 Cannes ) is a French racing driver. It occurs since 2013 in Formula Renault 3.5.

Career

NATO began his motorsport career in 1998 in karting, where he was active until 2010. He won, among others, in 2009 the French KZ2 Championship and in 2010 the Monaco Kart Cup in the KZ2 class. 2010 NATO debuted in Formula racing and participated in the F4 Eurocup 1.6. He won two races and was runner-up behind Stoffel Vandoorne. 2011 joined NATO to R- Ace Grand Prix and entered in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup at. With two third places he scored two podium finishes and finished the season as the best pilot of his racing team in eleventh place from. NATO had 58 retrieved significantly more points than his two teammates Côme Ledogar and Pieter Schothorst who came together on 10 points. In addition, he participated in the first three events of the North European Formula Renault R- Ace Grand Prix. He scored a pole position and a second place. 2012 NATO went for RC Formula at the start. With a win and four podium finishes, he improved in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup to fourth place. 2013 joined NATO to DAMS in the Formula Renault 3.5. There he was team-mate Kevin Magnussen. While Magnussen with five victories won the league title, two fifth places were the best results of NATO. He finished the season in 13th place. 2014 NATO remained at DAMS in Formula Renault 3.5.
