North Cornwall
North Cornwall ( Cornish: Kernow Kledh ) was a District of the county of Cornwall in England. Administrative headquarters was the town of Wadebridge; significant sights of the former Districts were Bodmin, Camelford, Launceston, Padstow and Tintagel.
The district was formed on 1 April 1974 and evolved from the merger of the boroughs of Bodmin and Launceston, the Urban District Bude - Stratton and the Rural Districts Camelford, Launceston, Stratton and Wadebridge and Padstow. On April 1, 2009, among North Cornwall also all other Districts in Cornwall were abolished and combined into a single unitary authority.
