North East Island, New Zealand

Northeast Iceland is the largest island in the archipelago of islands belonging to New Zealand snare in the southwestern Pacific Ocean, some 200 km south of the South Island of New Zealand situated.

Geography

Northeast Iceland is, as the name suggests, in the northeast of the snare Islands. The island has the shape of a triangle with two long peninsulas as an extension to the west and the south. North East Iceland has a length of about 3 km in the east-west direction, a width of 2.5 km from north to south and has an area of ​​280 acres (2.8 km ²) on. Therefore, it represents by far the largest island in the archipelago dar. South of Northeast Iceland is Iceland Broughton, the second largest island of the snare Islands.
