Geography

North Hollywood is adjacent to Sun Valley, Burbank, Sherman Oaks, Toluca Lake, Studio City, Van Nuys, Panorama City and Valley Village.

History

North Hollywood was established in 1887 by the Lankershim Ranch Land and Water Company. The district changed its name several times: at the beginning it was called Toluca, 1896, he was named Lankershim until 1927 its present name was North Hollywood.
