North Kesteven

North Kesteven is a District in the county of Lincolnshire in England. Administrative center is the city of Sleaford. Other important towns are Branston, Heckington and North Hykeham.

The district was formed on 1 April 1974 and evolved from the merger of the Urban District Sleaford and Kesteven Rural District East and North Kesteven. This previously belonged to all Kesteven, one of the existing 1889 to 1974 the administrative county.
