North Shore (Montreal)
Called Rive -Nord ( engl. North Shore, dt " North Shore "), even Couronne Nord ( " north rim " ), is the collective term for the northern suburbs of Montreal. They are located in the southwest of the province of Quebec on the north shore of the Rivière des Prairies rivers and Rivière des Mille Îles, opposite the islands of Ile de Montréal ( with Montreal) and Île Jésus ( Laval with ). The region includes 20 municipalities in the Laurentides and Lanaudière administrative regions.
