North Sunderland

North Sunderland is a fishing community on the coast of Northumberland and has its own harbor.

Because of the discovery of a cup from the Neolithic and one marked with a ring stone in a tomb at Seahouses from the Bronze Age can be shown that stayed already at that time once people in the area. In a stone cist another tomb from the Bronze Age as well as a standing stone was found.

1891, the population was 828 North Sunderland, 1971 1,733 inhabitants lived there.
