North Tyrol Limestone Alps

The North Tyrolean Limestone Alps are the one part of the Northern Limestone Alps, which is situated in the Austrian state of Tyrol. They include (from west to east) the following mountain groups: Lech Valley Alps, Allgäu Alps, Oberammergau Alps, Wettersteingebirge, Karwendel, Bavarian pre-Alps, Rofangebirge or Brandenberger Alps and the Kaiser Mountains. More or less large parts of some of these groups extend across the border to Bavaria.
