North-West District (Botswana)
The North - West District ( German Northwest District) is a district of Botswana, which arose in 2001 from the merger of the districts of Chobe and Ngamiland. It is divided into the Subdistrikte Ngamiland North, South Ngamiland, Chobe and Delta. Its seat of government is located in Maun, the largest town in the district. Covering an area of 129,930 km ² 142 970 people live.
In the North - West District, the Okavango Delta is located.
