Northern Fury FC

North Queensland Fury is a football club from the city ostaustralischen Townsville in Queensland, the first team played two seasons in the A-League.

History

As early as the 2007/08 season it was the first time an application of Townsville for a place in the A-League after the New Zealand Knights, the license had been revoked. A consortium named Tropical Football applied for the vacated space. A year later there was a new application under the name Northern Thunder (also North Queensland Thunder ) and ran an entry for the season 2008/ 09 envisaged. In the first season in the A-League, there were some problems. Thus, the average attendance was not very high, and it came financial problems, which is why the contracts were resolved from all players after the first season. Also, sporty things did not go well. Before the second season changed ownership, and Frantisek Straka became the new coach. Some players from the first season were again contracts, but the team has been completely remodeled and expanded with more unknowns, which is why North Queensland Fury was considered a maverick in the league.

The end of 2012 the club was revived and renamed Northern Fury FC. However, the logo and club colors remain. 2013 you will go into the Australian Premier League Queensland at the start.
