Northfield is a village in Cook County in the northeast of the U.S. state of Illinois in the Chicago metropolitan area. In 2000, Northfield had 5,389 inhabitants.
Geography
Northfield is located at 42 ° 05'59 " north latitude and 87 ° 46'51 " west longitude. Its area consists exclusively of land area and extends over 7.7 km ².
