The University of Political Science and Law Northwest China (in Chinese西北 政法 大学, Pinyin Xibei Zhèngfǎ Daxue, english Northwest University of Politics and Law ) (abbr.: NWUPL ) is a Chinese University in Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi Province in the northwest of the People 's Republic of China.

Prior to 2006 it was called " School of Political Science and Law Northwest China " (Chinese西北 政法 学院, pinyin Xibei Zhèngfǎ Xueyuan, english Northwest Institute of Politics and Law ). It was founded in 1937 and is one of the oldest educational institutions of Political Science and Law in the People's Republic of China.
