Northwick Park tube station

Northwick Park is an aboveground station London Underground in the London Borough of Harrow. It is located in the Travelcard Zone 4 at the Northwick Avenue. The area served by the Metropolitan Line station was used in 2011 of 3.58 million passengers. It is located directly at the Harrow Campus of the University of Westminster. Around three hundred meters north of the station is Kenton Bakerloo Line.

Although the route of the Metropolitan Railway ( predecessor company of the Metropolitan Line) already existed since 1880, but the station was not built until later, because the density of development up to the early 1920s was still very low. The opening took place on 28 June 1923. Initially called the Station Northwick Park and Kenton, on 15 March 1937 she was given its present name.
