Norway women's national handball team

The Norwegian women's national handball team represents Norway in international tournaments in women's handball.

The first international match of the Norwegian selection took place on September 29, 1946 against Sweden, with a final score of 2:5. Overall, Norway played 1200 matches ( 696 wins, 92 draws, 412 losses). So far, they have won two World Championships, five Olympic medals, including two gold medals in 2008 and 2012, and five European championships. In addition, Norway won the 2005 and 2008 World Cup.
