The parliamentary election in Norway 1977 was held on 12 September 1977. It was the election to the Storting 52.

The turnout was 82.9 percent.

After the dramatic election 1973 Stortingswahl 1977 brought a weakening of the extreme parties - Socialists and Progressives - in favor of Workers' Party and conservatives. Det nye Folkeparti and Progress Party could this time the blocking limit is not overcome and left the Parliament from. The calculated left majority was exactly confirmed, so the Nordli (Ap) government could continue their work.
