Geography

Notzingen, also referred to as " ground Bachgemeinde ", located in the eastern part of the district of Esslingen in a hollow between Kirchheim and high village. The place is 35 km from the state capital of Stuttgart and 50 km from Ulm. Notzingen is assigned to the Stuttgart region.

History

Coat of arms

The coat of arms shows " under golden ( yellow ) with a horizontal black deer rod occupied main shield in blue an upwardly open golden (yellow ) Exemplary, including the golden ( yellow ) Latin capitals NO. " The flag has the colors yellow-blue ( gold - blue).

The black deer rack in the upper part indicates the membership of the state of Baden -Württemberg. The gorgeous underneath it is an excerpt from the coat of arms of Kirchheim unter Teck.

Religions

There are about 1940 for the Protestant inhabitants an evangelical church that James Church. For about 820 Catholics the parish of St. Ulrich in Kirchheim unter Teck is responsible.

The place is four kilometers from the motorway 8, junction Kirchheim unter Teck, the federal highway 10 junction Plochingen and the federal highway 313.
