Highway 125 is the northern section of the Trans-Canada Highway in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia dar. It has a length of 142 km and runs completely on the Cape Breton Iceland.

Route

The route begins in the south of Cape Breton Iceland as a branch of Highway 104 on its western section also part of the Trans-Canada Highway system. The route goes through Port Hastings to the northeast. In Whycocomagh then the Highway encounters the Bras d' Or Lake, he then runs largely along the northeastern shore of the lake to the Seal Iceland Bridge. There, the highway crosses a natural channels connecting the lake with the Atlantic Ocean. The highway leads then east past Florance and Sidney Mines, before ending in North Sydney. At the local ferry terminal then there is connection to the island Newfoundland.
