Noventa di Piave

Noventa di Piave is a municipality in the province of Venice in the Veneto region with 24,584 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012).

History

Noventa originated in the 5th century BC in a different scenic area. At that time there was still a lagoon. Noventa had at that time a lot of wood and Fisch.Diese goods were shipped across the Piave, which was navigable in Noventa. Then Noventa lost the meaning. 1806 she became a part of the municipality of Motta di Livenza

From 1866 Noventa was a separate municipality again.

Today at Noventa leads the A4 motorway by with a departure.
