Noves
Noves is a commune with 5238 inhabitants ( 1 January 2011) in the department of Bouches -du -Rhône Provence -Alpes- Côte d' Azur region. It belongs to Arrondissement Arles Canton and Château Renard.
Geography
Noves is situated about twelve kilometers south of Avignon. The municipality covers an area of 27.92 square kilometers and is located at 32-105 meters above sea level (on average 43 meters) in the valley of the river Anguillon.

- Église Saint- Baudile: The church is named after St. Baudilius, is the patron saint of the church. In the 13th century the church was built.
- Chapelle des Penitents Blancs (English: Chapel of the White Penitents ): The chapel was built in the fourteenth century and since 1995 library.
- Chapelle Notre- Dame de Piété: The church is located on the hill Pieu where 1,400 years ago the first people settled in Noves.
- Moulin de la Roque: The Felsenmühle, as it is called in German, can be rented by tourists today.
