Novoli, Florence

Novoli is the name of the north-western part of the city of Florence.

The former marshy area was drained and later served agricultural purposes. With the expansion of the city in 1928 it was fully part of Florence. At the end of the 1930s carried out the industrialization of the district, mainly due to a large FIAT factory.
